Can I book a trial class?
Yes! ALL students are booked as a trial for their first day. Trial classes are FREE. If you decide to enroll, the monthly tuition and annual membership fee will be due.
How much is the membership fee, and when is it due?
The membership fee is $50 per student. Your membership fee is due upon enrollment and on each year’s anniversary date. This fee will include the required uniform for the student (leotard or shirt/shorts). You may drop a class and re-enroll without paying another membership fee as long as you re-enroll within a year of the initial membership payment.
When are my tuition payments due?
To simplify billing and enrollment, TRIumph bills monthly. We require a credit/debit card to be kept on file and charge tuition in advance on the 30th of each month. If you wish, you may pay before the 30th and not have your account drafted. Payments can be made in person using cash, check, credit/debit card, or through the online parent portal. Overdue tuition may result in a withdrawal from enrollment.
What should my child wear to gymnastics?
Leotards for girls and fitted shirts for boys are REQUIRED. Both are provided as part of the annual membership fee. (For the first day of class/trial class, a fitted T-shirt and athletic shorts are fine.) Hair that is long enough to put up must be tied back. We practice barefoot, so students must remove shoes and socks while on the floor.
We DO NOT allow the following clothing items/accessories:
- No loose-fitting clothing, dresses, exposed midriffs, jeans, or tutus.
- No clothing with buttons, zippers, snaps, buckles, etc... (These items can damage our equipment or get caught and pose a serious safety concern.)
- No jewelry or watches, especially dangly items or hoop earrings.
What can I expect on the first day of class?
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early and check in at the front desk. After your enrollment has been confirmed, you can head to the cubbies where you will place your belongings. Instructors will call the classes out, and head onto the floor to start the warm-up. The remainder of class will be spent on the different events scheduled for that day. We rotate events each class to ensure all students get sufficient experience in each event. Once you’re actively enrolled in a class, there is no need to check in with the front desk unless you have questions or concerns that need to be addressed.
Do I need to stay in the gym during my child’s class?
Parents of students age 6 and up are welcome to drop off and pick up children during class times. We require that parents walk into the gym for drop-off and pick-up. We recommend that parents of children aged 5 attending a 45-minute class remain in the gym. It is REQUIRED that parents of children aged 4 and under REMAIN in the gym for the duration of class. We are not able to assist your child with restroom/illness needs per SafeSport protocols.
What happens if my child is late to class?
If your child misses the warm-up portion of class (this typically takes 10 minutes), they will not be allowed to participate in class that day. Warm-up and stretching are essential parts of the class, and it poses a safety concern and disruption to class when a gymnast misses this portion of their workout. You may schedule a makeup class with the front desk once per month. This policy applies to all Preschool, Developmental (Girls & Boys Rec), and Tumbling classes.
What happens if I am late picking up my child?
We require that parents be present inside the gym for pickup within 5 minutes of class ending. A late fee of $10 per ten minutes over the 5-minute grace period will be assessed and charged to your account in the case of late pickup. There is a “Late Pickup” area by the front desk that your child will be directed to.
What happens if my child comes to class with a pre-existing injury or illness?
At times, students may come to class sick or with a sore ankle, wrist, etc. Parents will need to inform the coach of this. We will then use our discretion to determine if the child can safely and effectively participate in class. In some cases, we may require a doctor’s note giving clearance to participate. PLEASE NOTE: All students who have had restricted activity per doctor’s orders will need medical clearance to return to full participation.
Can I make up a missed class?
Yes! If you are absent from a class, you will be able to schedule a make-up class once per month. If you cannot attend your scheduled make-up class, please reschedule with the front desk at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, your make-up will expire.
Inclement weather: If TRIumph is closed or it is unsafe to travel due to inclement weather, you will receive a make-up token.
Special classes and events: There are no make-ups for special classes or events, including summer camps and clinics.
Scheduled closures: There are the same number of classes per year for any given class on any given day. Our tuition rates factor in scheduled closures. Therefore, there are no reductions or credits applicable for holiday closures. Please see the Holiday Closures List on our website.
What if I need to withdraw from my class?
To ensure no one loses their spot in class, students are continuously enrolled. In the event you wish to withdraw, we’ll need written notice via email or a form from the gym at least two weeks in advance so that the changes can be made to your account. All emails can be sent to our administrative staff at info@triumphnc.com
Does TRIumph offer refunds?
TRIumph does not refund tuition or registration fees. Some exceptions for medical reasons may apply with a doctor's note. Camp deposits are non-refundable unless canceled by TRIumph
What if the class I want is full?
If your preferred class is full, we can place you on a wait list. We monitor our wait lists regularly and will contact you when a space is available.
What can I do to enhance my child’s gymnastics experience?
Be their biggest fan! Showing them your love and support in all they do is a great way to encourage and create a positive outlook in the sport of gymnastics. We do ask that you leave the teaching to the coaches during class time. Your gymnast is in the hands of phenomenal coaches who enjoy what they do! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to address them with the coach before/after your child’s class, or contact our front desk staff at info@triumphnc.com.
